Tanglewood Church's Graduation Sunday Message

For the first time in my life, instead of giving a welcome at church I had the honor of actually bringing the message on May 19, 2019. Pastor Allen Stocks and his leadership team at Tanglewood Church invited me to speak on Graduation Sunday. 

My message was entitled "Side to Side" which took some cues from the parable of the talents and the movie "Hitch". 

Five key talking points:  

  • Service to others leads to greatness 

  • Master the mundane 

  • Answering the question "why?" 

  • Trust and happiness 

  • And, the oxygen mask  

Congratulations to this year's graduating class. I promise you'll have challenges ahead, but the opportunities to use your talents and contribute to this world are far greater.
